Toledo Ohio Cake Smash Photography Session

It’s been cake smash crazy over here at the studio! I am loving it though - so much fun!

Just a reminder : In order to ensure a spot in my schedule, I recommend contacting me about 2-3 months in advance. I absolutely love planning cake smashes! Your birthday babe can also end the cake smash with a splash in milk/bubble bath.

Cake smash sessions include a short & sweet session of just your birthday baby in one outfit. I will take just a couple quick photos without the cake to begin and then the real fun starts! I will then document your 1 year old baby smashing their cake - it is so fun! Some babies get REALLY into it and make a big mess, others might be a little more timid about the idea of digging into a cake. Either way, it’s such an exciting experience!

You can also add-on a “splash” at the end, where your little one can wash off all of that cake in a milk or bubble bath. The cutest!

I can provide simple balloons (no helium), greenery & florals, a cake stand or vintage high chair, as well as an outfit to wear for the photos. Please note: the client does provide their own cake. A white cake or naked is perfect - you can go over the top with a super fancy cake too! I do recommend staying away from chocolate cake and/or icing because it can look yucky in the photos.

Ann Arbor Baby Photography Studio - 6 Months Baby Session

I broke out this old prop from my inventory for the first time in years! I have so many props in storage, that some times I forget what I have. It’s a bit of an addiction but who can blame me?

I have been photographing this baby boy since he was a newborn. I photographed his newborn session, 3 months photo session, 6 months photo session, and now his 9 months photo session. It’s so hard to believe! It is never lost on me what an honor it is to be able to watch my little clients grow like that.

This 9 month baby photo session took place at my natural light, bright & airy in-home photography studio located in Sylvania Ohio. I have clients travel to me from all over NW Ohio & SE Michigan, including Toledo, Perrysburg, Ottawa Hills, Bowling Green, Findlay, Ann Arbor, and Detroit. My home studio is fully stocked with everything needed for your baby’s photography session! I have lots of unique & vintage props to choose from, a wardrobe full of baby boy and baby girls outfits to wear, as well as a huge selection of headbands and accessories. All you have to do is show up and I can take care of the rest! No need to stress about finding an outfit, I have you covered.

In order to ensure a spot in my schedule, I recommend booking about 2-3 months in advance. Weekend spots tend to book well in advance, so if you know you really want a weekend date for your session, then it’s best to get in contact with me sooner rather than later.

Ann Arbor Newborn Photo Session

I have just opened my calendar for February due dates!

Curious about how booking a newborn session works? I get this question a lot - I’ll explain! So, since we usually don’t know exactly when your little will arrive, I hold space on my calendar for around the time of baby’s due date. Once your little one has made their arrival, we will then schedule a date & time for the session to take place between 5-21 days old. That sweet, sleepy phase goes by so incredibly fast!

Due to the time needed for newborn sessions, I only accept a limited number of due dates each month. I recommend booking your newborn session while still in the 2nd trimester - this will help to ensure you secure a spot in my schedule.

Newborn sessions take place at my natural light home photography studio located in Sylvania Ohio. I service clients from all over NW Ohio and SE Michigan, such as Toledo, Perrysburg, Bowling Green, Ann Arbor, Detroit and more. I have a client closet that is filled with absolutely everything needed for the session - headbands, hats & bonnets, wraps, a rainbow of backdrop colors to choose from, and a large selection of unique & vintage props like buckets, bowls, baskets, crates, beds, boho, and more!

Toledo Ohio Cake Smash Photo Session

I have been a little quiet around here because I’ve been super busy with all of these 1st birthday photo sessions I’ve had lately! Luisa has been with me since she was in her mamas belly and I seriously cannot believe we just did her cake smash already! How has it already been 1 year?! I’m in love with this all white cake smash session with a touch of baby’s breath florals…the white vintage high chair seriously made this cake smash though!

Ann Arbor 1st Birthday Baby Photographer

My weakness: baby curls!! I am obsessed with his hair.

I met this sweet boy for the first time during my Christmas Mini Sessions last year. He was such a happy, smiley baby then and he is still a happy, smiley baby now! That always helps my job easy! It was actually a bit of a cloudy day during this outdoor baby photo session, however, we got lucky and the sun popped out for maybe 5 minutes. I definitely used it as much as I could, so we were able to have some sunny photos too.

Easter Mini Sessions in my Sylvania Ohio studio are here!

I am so excited for this years Easter Mini Sessions! These sessions will take place at my home studio located in Sylvania, Ohio. Come dressed in your Easter best or you can even borrow from my client closet, including bunny rompers (I have white and grey), bunny hats, and other cute outfits (sized mostly 6-18 months, however, I do have larger sizes - just ask!)

I can’t/won’t have live chicks for a variety of reasons, however, I have some fake chicks that are actually pretty cute and realistic! Due to the size of this Easter set, it is recommended for only 1-2 children.

I am so excited to receive this award yet again. It means so much! This is my 11th year specializing in newborn photography, that’s so hard to believe! I am really proud of how far I’ve come and how much time & effort I have put into perfecting my newborn photography skills. I have taken several workshops from some of the most respected instructors in the industry and learned how to achieve all of those adorable little poses in the safest way possible. Sylvania Ohio Newborn Photographer

Look at those sweet newborn smiles this sweet baby boy gave us at his newborn photo session! We did a mix of deep, bold, moody colors and bright, light & airy colors - it’s fun to do both! This session was a Swaddled session, meaning all poses were done wrapped (no unwrapped or naked poses!). These newborn sessions are great for those that just want a quick session to document their sweet newborn baby. You get to pick one prop (such as a bucket, bowl, basket, bed, etc) and one colored backdrop option - this mama chose a bucket and a navy blue fabric backdrop. I really wanted to do an olive green setup, so I threw in one extra setup just for fun! Swaddled sessions are of just baby only, however, I do love incorporating the parents hands for a “family” shot.
