The first year of your baby’s life is full of so many fleeting moments…but there’s nothing like the excitement of their very 1st birthday!

I take great care in providing a relaxed & stress-free client experience. My goal with every session is to capture memories and create timeless art for your family to cherish for years to come.

the experience

As part of your cake smash session experience, all clients gain full access to my client closet. I provide a variety of adorable baby boy & baby girl outfits, headbands & flower crowns, hats & bonnets, as well as unique props. Just show up with your cake and let me take care of the rest!

Cake Smash Sessions take place either in my Sylvania Ohio photography studio or at an outdoor location. For optimal lighting, I schedule outdoor sessions for approximately 1-2 hours before sunset during “golden hour”.

Decor such as florals, greenery & non-helium balloons are provided.

Because I only accept a limited number of sessions each month, I suggest booking at least 2-3 months in advance.

All photography sessions are all-inclusive, meaning you don’t have to choose favorites or make any further purchases. Included with your session is a full gallery of beautifully edited high-res images to download.

This is the perfect session for those that just want a short & sweet cake smash of your birthday baby! Includes poses of baby only in 1 outfit/setup, both with & without cake.

This is the perfection session to document your 1 year old’s love for cake and bath time! Includes cake smash poses of baby only in 1 outfit/setup, both with & without cake, followed by a splash in the tub.
— Session lasting approximately 30 minutes
— Your choice in-studio or outdoors (outdoor sessions are scheduled to take place 1-2 hours before sunset)
— A variety of poses of your little one without cake, followed by some cake smashing fun and then we will end with a splash in the tub
— Your choice of milk bath or bubble bath
— An online gallery of beautifully edited high-res images to download

The earlier the better! In order to ensure a spot in my schedule, I recommend booking 2-3 months in advance. I always do my best to fit in last minute inquiries, however, I am not always able to do so.
You can expect a Cake Smash Session to last approximately 20 mins. Smash & Splash sessions take a little bit longer, approximately 30 minutes
All Cake Smash Sessions include your gallery of beautifully edited digital images to download. Sessions are all-inclusive, meaning you don’t have to choose your favorites or make any further purchases.
Cake Smash Sessions typically result in approximately 10-30 finished images to download from your gallery. Smash & Splash Sessions typically result in approximately from 15-40 finished images to download from your gallery.
Cake Smash sessions are of just your baby (no exceptions). If you would like an updated family photo with parents and/or siblings, a Baby Milestone Session would be perfect for you!
Absolutely! I have a large collection of adorable boys & girls outfits, hats, bonnets, headbands, flower crowns, as well as a variety of props that are all available for you to use.
For decor, I can provide basic items such as florals, greenery, and non-helium balloons. I have a “1” number and “O N E” letters, as well as cake stands and a white vintage high chair.
If you had a specific theme in mind (such as a favorite character, sport, etc), you are more than welcome to bring those decorative items with you!
I can provide the outfit, headband/flower crown, as well as general props & decorations; such as a cake stand, florals, and balloons (no helium)
I do require that you bring your own smash cake. It can be as simple or over the top as you want!
If desired, you can bring your own helium-filled balloons, as well as any other as specifically themed decor/clothing items.
Definitely! If you have your own outfits or special props that you would like to use in the photos, you are more than welcome to do so.
My bright & airy professional photography studio is located in Sylvania, Ohio. I have many clients travel to me from all over Ohio, Michigan and Indiana!
It can take up to 15 BUSINESS DAYS following the day after your session to professionally hand edit & retouch each of your images. If you need your images sooner, there is a $200 rush fee to receive your gallery within 3 BUSINESS DAYS.
