the experience

Maternity sessions are the perfect opportunity to capture the anticipation of your new arrival! I recommend scheduling your session to take place between 27-34 weeks, as this is when most expecting moms still feel great and have a beautiful baby bump.

Maternity Sessions take place either in my Sylvania Ohio photography studio or at an outdoor location in the Toledo area. For optimal lighting, I schedule outdoor sessions for approximately 1-2 hours before sunset during “golden hour”.

Because I only accept a limited number of sessions each month, I suggest booking at least 2-3 months in advance.

faq’s

The earlier the better! In order to ensure a spot in my schedule, I recommend booking at the beginning of your 2nd trimester. I always do my best to fit in last minute inquiries, however, I am not always able to do so.
I recommend any time between 27-35 weeks. This is typically when you are still feeling good and have a beautiful bump to show off for your photos!
You can expect Signature Maternity Sessions to last approximately 30 mins-45 minutes. We will take breaks as needed, I never rush them!
Petite Maternity Sessions are short & sweet - approximately 15-20 minutes
All Maternity Sessions include your gallery of beautifully edited digital images to download. Sessions are all-inclusive, meaning you don’t have to choose your favorites or make any further purchases.
Signature Maternity Sessions typically result in anywhere from 25-60 finished images to download from your gallery. Petite Maternity Sessions typically result in anywhere from 10-30 finished images to download from your gallery.
Your spouse and/or children are more than welcome to be included!
However, Petite Maternity Sessions are of just the expecting mama only (no exceptions).
This is something I am working on expanding! I do have a small collection of maternity gowns in my client closet and I hope to add more in the future. I can also give you recommendations for the best places to look to purchase your own gown.
My bright & airy, professional photography studio is located in Sylvania, Ohio. I have many clients travel to me from all over Ohio, Michigan and Indiana!
It can take up to 15 BUSINESS DAYS following the day after your session to professionally hand edit & retouch each of your images. If you need your images sooner, there is a $200 rush fee to receive your gallery within 3 BUSINESS DAYS.
