I mean, just look at those eyes! I absolutely love 1 year + 1st birthday baby photography sessions. This is such a fun & happy age to document!
1st Birthday Sessions can be done in my Sylvania Ohio Baby Photography Home Studio or at one of my favorite outdoor locations in the Toledo Ohio area. Baby Sessions can focus on just your little one or we can even include the family! If desired, a cake smash can also be done at the very end…be prepared for lots of giggles and a really big (but fun) mess!
As part of your session experience, outfits & props can be provided for you! I offer a client wardrobe filled with the cutest outfits that fit from 6 months through 1 year- I am always adding new things! I also have a variety of hats & headbands/flower crowns, as well as unique & vintage props. I love customizing each session!
I recommend booking your session about 1-2 months in advance. My weekend spots are limited and do tend to fill up quickly.

The sweetest little peanut! I am always drawn to the creamy neutral newborn photography images but I do love incorporating some color, too!
Big Sister wasn’t super excited to take family pictures with her new baby sister - but we got it! I try my best to make new big sisters & brothers feel comfortable while they are with me in my studio. I act like a big goof and ask for their “help” so that they feel special and important, too. I always have some tricks up my sleeve, even for those super tricky toddlers! As a mom myself, I know how important it is to document that special bond with your family and your newborn baby.
Newborn sessions typically take place when your baby is around 1-2 weeks old, however, I can do them later than that as well! “Older’ newborns that are closer to 3 weeks old just need a little extra time & patience and we might use more wraps & swaddles than usual. My home studio is located in Sylvania Ohio and is fully stocked with absolutely everything needed for your newborn photography session! Hats & bonnets, headbands & flower crowns, wraps & swaddles, a large variety of backdrop color options, and many vintages props to choose from, such as buckets, bowls, crates, beds, etc. I love stylizing newborn sessions!

While maternity sessions tend to focus on mama, I absolutely love including the family! I know everyone is so excited about the new baby, it’s so much fun documenting that.
Maternity sessions are typically done some time between 27-35 weeks - any time is fine as long as your baby bump is visibly showing. We want to show it off! I have several favorite outdoor locations around the Toledo area and I love shooting at golden hour, which is about 1-2 hours before sunset, for that dreamy, gorgeous lighting! In the winter months, my home maternity photography studio (located in Sylvania Ohio) works perfectly.
If you are also looking for newborn photos, the Bump to Baby Plan is perfect! This package includes a full maternity session and a full “Heirloom” newborn session. Booking both sessions together comes at a discount!
Toledo Ohio 1st Birthday baby photography session
1st Birthday Sessions are always so much fun! Baby Photography Sessions focus on your little one, however, I love including the family in some shots, too! Toledo Botanical Gardens is one of my favorite spots in the summer months - it’s always gorgeous and full of flowers! I have lots of favorite spots all over the Toledo area that I use for baby photography sessions but I seem to find myself here often.
I have a closet full of baby girl & baby boy outfits that all clients have access to! It’s so nice not having to worry about finding something for your little one to wear - I can take care of it for you! I also have a huge variety of headbands & flower crowns, hats, and props like buckets, bowls, crates, etc. I am always adding new items to my prop & wardrobe closet.
My weekend spots are limited and tend to fill up at least a month or 2 in advance. I suggest booking your session early so that I can ensure a spot for you in my schedule. Baby Sessions can take place outdoors at one of my favorite spots -or- my home photography studio located in Sylvania Ohio.

This is my all-time favorite age to photograph! This little cutie visited me at my Toledo Ohio Baby Photography studio for her 6 month photos and totally rocked them! I always recommend scheduling your baby sessions for when your little one can sit up unassisted - this allows us to have so much fun with posing.
My home studio is located in Sylvania Ohio and is filled with the cutest baby boy & baby girl outfits and accessories. I provide the wardrobe (or you can bring your own!), headbands, hats, props, etc. All you have to do is show up and I will take care of the rest!
Baby sessions can also be done at one of my favorite outdoor locations - but my photography studio is perfect for those long Ohio & Michigan winters! I offer a variety of different looks & backgrounds so that you can get a couple different looks during the session.

I have 10 years of newborn photography experience, including newborn safety training. Choosing a newborn photographer can be such an overwhelming decision…my hope for you is to feel comfortable knowing I have the experience & training needed to safely pose your baby. I have developed many techniques over the years so that I can provide a smooth & successful newborn session for my clients. This unique niche of photography is my passion and I have put my everything into it!
Due to limited availability, I suggest booking your due date on my calendar while still in the 2nd trimester. I hold space in my schedule for around the time of your due date. Once your baby has made their arrival, we will set a date & time for the session to take place. Newborn sessions are done between 5-21 days old, when they are still so sweet & sleepy.

Newborn sessions feature multiple setups of your baby, including poses in props such as vintage buckets, rustic bowls, etc. My studio is stocked with everything needed for your session! I have an ever-growing collection of props, backdrops, swaddles/wraps, hats & bonnets, headbands & tiebacks, etc. I customize each session to your preferences and have a full range of color options!
