Newborn sessions feature multiple setups of your baby, including poses in props such as vintage buckets, rustic bowls, etc. My studio is stocked with everything needed for your session! I have an ever-growing collection of props, backdrops, swaddles/wraps, hats & bonnets, headbands & tiebacks, etc. I customize each session to your preferences and have a full range of color options!

In order to guarantee a spot in my schedule, I recommend booking your newborn session while still in the 2nd trimester. I accept a limited number of sessions per month, so it’s best to get on my calendar in advance. Since we typically do not know the actual day your little one will arrive, I hold space in my schedule for around the time of your due date. Once your baby is born, we set a date & time for your session to take place between 5-21 days old.

What a gorgeous mama-to-be! I just love this field of wildflowers that we found :) So perfect for a photography session!

I am so excited for this very special baby to make her debut. She is a rainbow baby and very highly anticipated! It is such an honor to be chosen to photograph these memories - that privilege is not lost on me.

I recommend scheduling maternity sessions to take place somewhere around 26-32 weeks. Any time is fine as long as your baby bump is very visibly showing - we definitely want to be able to show it off! Maternity sessions can take place outdoors at a beautiful park setting or at my in-home photography studio located in Sylvania Ohio. In order to ensure a spot in my schedule, I suggest planning in advance and booking your session at the beginning of the 2nd trimester.

Soon-to-be dad and big brother(s)/sister(s) are definitely encouraged to take part in maternity sessions!

I wanted to give a schedule update for the next couple months - fall dates are booking extremely fast!

• September: nearly full for all sessions - please inquire for your specific time frame

• October: 2 weekday spots available for baby/maternity sessions (weekends are full), 2 newborn spots available

• November: 1 weekend spot available (I do have some weekday spots available) for baby/maternity sessions, 3 newborn spots available

• December: 1 weekend spot available (weekdays are available) for baby/maternity sessions, 2 newborn spots available

• January: new booking for January & beyond!

In order to ensure a spot in my schedule, I recommend booking newborn sessions any time during the 2nd trimester. I only accept a certain number of sessions each month - only 2 newborns per week in order to sanitize/clean the studio properly. I always do my best to squeeze in last minute session requests, however, that is not always possible.

How ADORABLE is little Olivia?!

This is another awesome family that I have been given the opportunity to work with for several years now - I have done baby photography sessions for all 3 kiddos in this family! It just worked out perfectly for me to be able to photograph the newest baby girl for her 1 year birthday photos. I love when that happens :)

I just love photographing baby sessions! I suggest booking baby sessions around 6 months old or when your baby can sit up unassisted - this is such a fun age! Another great time to schedule your baby photography session, is around 1 year for their 1st birthday pictures. Baby sessions can take place in my home studio located in Sylvania Ohio or outdoors at a local Toledo Ohio area park. As part of your baby session experience, all clients gain access to my collection of outfits, accessories, and props. I have several adorable outfit options available, so you don’t even have to worry about finding something!

This is the 3rd newborn session that I have done for this awesome family, which just blows my mind! I am seriously the luckiest to be given these opportunities to capture these special times. It’s actually kind of funny how all my newborn sessions have worked out with this specific family. If you are new here, you may not know that I am originally based out of Dayton Ohio, which is where I photographed my first newborn session for this family. When I relocated to Lexington KY, they came all the way down to see me when their 2nd baby came along! By the time baby #3 came (which is Charlotte seen here!), they had moved up to Michigan and I was just right down the road in Sylvania Ohio. So it ended up working out perfectly and I was able to photograph baby #3 too!

It’s just so funny how things work out sometimes!

Say hello to Rawlings!

As I’m sure you can tell, this sweet little baby girls family loves baseball! It was so fun to incorporate these baseball newborn photography props into her session :) It’s not a request that I get very often but I loved it! I’m always happy to incorporate special mementos like this into your newborn photos.

The mama of this little girl also runs an amazing blog for local moms right here in Toleldo, called Toledo Moms. She is is seriously just the sweetest and I loved working with her! If you haven’t done so already, you definitely need to check out her blog - it is full of so much information for new & expecting moms and she is local!

Introducing Lincoln!

This sweet baby boy was my last newborn session before I made the decision to close my doors for COVID-19. It really saddens me to think it could be months before I get to snuggle a sweet newborn client again, however, I know this is what needs to be done. I have been really keeping all of the pregnant mama’s out there in my thoughts during this very uncertain time.

Luckily I have 2 pretty cute little girls of my own that I get to make my photography subjects for a bit :) I already have a couple photo sessions planned for them!
