I am so excited to be “back in the office” and sharing some cuteness from the past several months!

This sweet little boy was one of my last few baby photography sessions before our move up to Toledo Ohio. I had the privilege of shooting his newborn session as well :) I love watching my clients grow up, it is the best part of my job!

I think it’s safe to say has grown up just a little bit :)

I am really looking forward to getting back to work! It’s probably going to be at least another month yet but I am counting down the days until I can start snuggling babies again.

Newborn photography sessions will be held in our in-home studio located in Sylvania Ohio. Everything for your session is provided, including wraps, hats, headbands, props, buckets, bowls, etc. No need for you to worry about anything! All you have to do is show up and I’ll work my magic and take care of the rest :)

I like to see newborns anywhere from 5-21 days old. This is the time that they are still in the sleepy, milk drunk state, which makes for some of the sweetest poses!

PEEK-A-BOO!

This little baby girl is absolutely adorable! And how about that amazing hair?? I just love her!

Kinsley came in for her sitter milestone session right about 6 months old. I feel like this age is always overlooked, which is funny because it is my absolute FAVORITE age. 6-8 months is that amazing time when your baby just sits there and grins — by the time your little one hits around 10-12 months, they’re usually crawling or maybe even walking. Photos become a whole new ballgame once they become mobile :) So this age is just so super fun!

When you book a baby milestone session with Sweet Bloom Photography, you get access to all of our adorable boys & girls outfits and accessories. You don’t have to stress about finding anything for your session, I can take care of it all!

Baby Milestone sessions are scheduled around 5-10 months old (when your little one is sitting up unassisted), and then at 11-13 months old for their first birthday. Birthday Milestone sessions can include a cake smash too! Sessions take place at our in-home studio located in Sylvania or outdoors at a beautiful park/prairie. The focus of the session is on your little one, however, I love incorporating a couple family poses too!

Meet Ramona! I think she may have taken over the title as “Most Awake Baby Ever” - She didn’t have much interest in sleeping for her newborn session but she’s super cute anyway :) This baby girl was nearly 4 weeks old when she came in for her session, so she was a bit over my typical cut-off. Usually, I schedule newborn sessions to take place between 5-21 days old (ideally before 14 days), however, I totally understand sometimes parents just get so busy! Even though Ramona didn’t have a lot of interest in doing much sleepy posing, we still managed some very cute shots!

Introducing Miss Luna!

This sweet baby girl had the best cheeks! It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for some squish :) I think she looks just precious on this minty seafoam color - it’s so fun to do something other than pink for girls! Luna came in for her newborn session, in our new Toledo studio, super fresh at just 5 days old and rocked it.

Newborn sessions take place in our newly completed in-home photography studio located in Sylvania Ohio. Since the actual arrival of your baby is typically unpredictable, I book newborn sessions by saving space on my calendar for around the time of your due date. Once your newborn has made their arrival, we will then schedule a date & time for the session to take place between 5-21 days old. I prefer to see newborns by 14 days old, however, we can go up to 21!

My studio is overflowing with buckets, bowls, baskets, hats, headbands, wraps…absolutely everything needed! All you have to do is bring your baby and I will take care of the rest. During the session, you can relax on the comfy couch, help yourself to snacks, and use the complimentary wifi. It’s not uncommon for parents to even fall asleep :) Prior to your session, you will be sent a prep guide that is filled with everything you need to know to plan for your session.

I have over 8 years experience working with newborns and have completed extensive safety training. I also commit to taking at least one workshop every year in order to improve and learn new skills. I take the safety of your little one very seriously!

This little newborn beauty was the first newborn session in the new Toledo studio space!

She came in as one of the biggest newborns I’ve ever had at over 10 pounds! In my over 8 years experience photographing newborns, I’ve only had a small handful of babies over 10 pounds. She was absolutely perfect and had the best cheeks!

She was also a little bit “older” than my typical newborn - She was 3 weeks old for her session. I typically photograph newborn sessions before 14 days of age, however, we absolutely can go later than that too :) It just takes a little extra patience and some baby whispering skills.

Newborn sessions take place between 5-21 days of age at my in-home photography studio located in Sylania Ohio. My studio is overflowing with everything needed for your session, including props, hats, headbands, wraps, baskets, buckets, bowls, as well as professional lighting and equipment. There’s no need for you to stress about what to bring - I will take care of it all!

Since the actual arrival of your baby is usually unpredictable, I hold space on my calendar for around the time of your due date. After your baby is born, we will then schedule a date/time for our session to take place. Due to limited availability, I recommend booking your newborn session while you are still in your 2nd trimester. Look at me blogging 2 days in a row! I have been the worst at sharing session images and I have soooo much to post! If you follow Sweet Bloom Photography on Instagram, then you may remember the behind the scenes clips that were shared in stories of this little sweetie.

Newborn sessions are scheduled to take place when your baby is around 5-21 days old. That sweet, sleepy newborn phase only lasts about 2-3 weeks, so it’s important that you come in as soon as possible! Our in-home photography studio is located in Sylvania Ohio and is fully stocked with everything needed for your newborn photos. We have a large inventory of buckets, bowls, hats, wraps, headbands, backdrops — absolutely everything needed! All you have to do is bring your baby and I’ll take care of the rest :)

When you arrive to the studio, you can get comfortable on our couch, help yourself to a snack or drink, and even use our complimentary wifi. My hope for you is to be able to sit back, relax and watch me work my magic baby whisperer skills!

What an absolutely STUNNING mama to be!

I absolutely love photography maternity sessions! I feel like many new moms (understandably) focus so much of their attention on the new baby, that sometimes they forget about themselves :) These photography sessions are such a fun way to document the anticipation of your pregnancy. You won’t regret it!

Maternity sessions can take place outdoors on-location in the Toledo area or at my in-home maternity photography studio located in Sylvania Ohio. I have a growing collection of maternity gowns that all clients are welcome to choose from! I love for the session to focus on mama-to-be, however, I definitely encourage dad and new brothers/sisters to join in as well. Most maternity sessions are scheduled to take place anywhere from 27-35 weeks. Any time is fine as long as your bump is very visibly showing!

Long time no see! I hope you’ve had an awesome summer!

In case you didn’t already know, I took a break this summer in order to get settled into our new home in TOLEDO OHIO! We have made a move to Toledo (Sylvania OH to be exact). This is my forever home and I am really looking forward to bringing SBP here :)

Summer is basically over and the kids are back in school, so it’s time to get started on the new Sweet Bloom Photography studio! The new studio is currently under construction and will be located in my home in Sylvania Ohio. Sweet Bloom will offer maternity, newborn and baby milestone sessions for the greater Toledo and Northwest Ohio areas, including Perrysburg, Maumee, Ottawa Hills, Bowling Green, Monclova, Whitehouse, Rossford, Holland and more!

I am really excited (and super nervous) about starting here in Toledo. I have some really fun ideas in the works and I can’t wait to share them all with you!
