I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone to please, please, please reschedule your session if you or anyone in your family is sick, has a cough, fever, runny nose, etc. I am more than happy to reschedule your session due to an illness! I am in very close contact with newborns on a regular basis, so it is extremely important to keep the studio a germ-free space.

The studio is cleaned & disinfected after every session and every wrap, backdrop, etc that is used during a session is washed and sanitized. It is very important to me that the studio is kept clean!

When I get shots like these, it makes me incredibly thankful for the amazing job that I have. It is a privilege to be able to work with these tiny, fragile little beings and to provide these irreplaceable memories — Your baby will never be this small again. It’s so amazing!

I have spent the last 9 years perfecting my skills with newborn photography and I am trained in newborn posing safety. It is always my #1 priority that your baby is kept safe at all times. Choosing the right newborn photographer can be really overwhelming, so my hope for you is to be able to trust in knowing that I have the training & knowledge (and some pretty awesome baby whispering skills!) to provide you with a smooth and comfortable experience.

Another awesome perk? All clients gain full access to my large collection of props & accessories! I provide absolutely everything needed for your session, so there is no need to worry about bringing anything. All of those little hats & headbands, cozy wraps, and vintage buckets & bowls are hand-picked and perfectly styled for each session. Just bring the baby and I will handle the rest :)

Newborn sessions take place between 5-21 days of age at my in-home photography studio located in Sylvania Ohio. Since the actual arrival of your baby is usually pretty unpredictable, I book your session by holding space on my calendar for around the time of your due date. Then once your baby has made their arrival, we will schedule a date & time. A prep guide that is filled with everything you need to know will be sent upon booking.

Matthew came in for his newborn session at my Sylvania Ohio photography studio at 10 days old - 5-21 days is the best time to schedule newborn sessions so that I am able to capture that very short-lived dreamy & squishy time. It goes by so fast and you will never get this special time back! I absolutely love being able to document that for you.

My studio is stocked with everything needed for your session. I provide all of the swaddle wraps, fuzzy little hats, adorable headbands, as well as all of the vintage buckets, rustic bowls, etc. I have professional lighting & equipment and have been trained in newborn posing safety. I take safety very seriously and make sure your newborn is within arms reach at all times. During the newborn session, parents can lounge on our comfy couch, enjoy the provided snacks & drinks or even use the wifi! My hope for you is to be able sit, back, relax and just watch the magic happen :)

Since the actual arrival of your little one is usually unpredictable, I hold space on my calendar for around the time of your due date. Then once your baby has made their arrival, we will schedule a date/time for your session to take place. Upon booking, you will be sent a detailed prep guide that is filled with lots of helpful information so that you will feel prepared. You will also receive a questionnaire to complete so that I can get a feel your personal preferences. My in-home studio is located in Sylvania Ohio and I provide newborn, baby and maternity photography sessions for Northwest and Toledo Ohio, including Perrysburg, Ottawa Hills, Maumee, Holland, Bowling Green, Findlay, as well as Ann Arbor and Detroit Michigan.

I am so excited to be “back in the office” and sharing some cuteness from the past several months!

This sweet little boy was one of my last few baby photography sessions before our move up to Toledo Ohio. I had the privilege of shooting his newborn session as well :) I love watching my clients grow up, it is the best part of my job!

I think it’s safe to say has grown up just a little bit :)

I am really looking forward to getting back to work! It’s probably going to be at least another month yet but I am counting down the days until I can start snuggling babies again.

Newborn photography sessions will be held in our in-home studio located in Sylvania Ohio. Everything for your session is provided, including wraps, hats, headbands, props, buckets, bowls, etc. No need for you to worry about anything! All you have to do is show up and I’ll work my magic and take care of the rest :)

I like to see newborns anywhere from 5-21 days old. This is the time that they are still in the sleepy, milk drunk state, which makes for some of the sweetest poses!

Meet Ramona! I think she may have taken over the title as “Most Awake Baby Ever” - She didn’t have much interest in sleeping for her newborn session but she’s super cute anyway :) This baby girl was nearly 4 weeks old when she came in for her session, so she was a bit over my typical cut-off. Usually, I schedule newborn sessions to take place between 5-21 days old (ideally before 14 days), however, I totally understand sometimes parents just get so busy! Even though Ramona didn’t have a lot of interest in doing much sleepy posing, we still managed some very cute shots!

Introducing Miss Luna!

This sweet baby girl had the best cheeks! It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for some squish :) I think she looks just precious on this minty seafoam color - it’s so fun to do something other than pink for girls! Luna came in for her newborn session, in our new Toledo studio, super fresh at just 5 days old and rocked it.

Newborn sessions take place in our newly completed in-home photography studio located in Sylvania Ohio. Since the actual arrival of your baby is typically unpredictable, I book newborn sessions by saving space on my calendar for around the time of your due date. Once your newborn has made their arrival, we will then schedule a date & time for the session to take place between 5-21 days old. I prefer to see newborns by 14 days old, however, we can go up to 21!

My studio is overflowing with buckets, bowls, baskets, hats, headbands, wraps…absolutely everything needed! All you have to do is bring your baby and I will take care of the rest. During the session, you can relax on the comfy couch, help yourself to snacks, and use the complimentary wifi. It’s not uncommon for parents to even fall asleep :) Prior to your session, you will be sent a prep guide that is filled with everything you need to know to plan for your session.

I have over 8 years experience working with newborns and have completed extensive safety training. I also commit to taking at least one workshop every year in order to improve and learn new skills. I take the safety of your little one very seriously!

This little newborn beauty was the first newborn session in the new Toledo studio space!

She came in as one of the biggest newborns I’ve ever had at over 10 pounds! In my over 8 years experience photographing newborns, I’ve only had a small handful of babies over 10 pounds. She was absolutely perfect and had the best cheeks!

She was also a little bit “older” than my typical newborn - She was 3 weeks old for her session. I typically photograph newborn sessions before 14 days of age, however, we absolutely can go later than that too :) It just takes a little extra patience and some baby whispering skills.

Look at me blogging 2 days in a row! I have been the worst at sharing session images and I have soooo much to post! If you follow Sweet Bloom Photography on Instagram, then you may remember the behind the scenes clips that were shared in stories of this little sweetie.

Newborn sessions are scheduled to take place when your baby is around 5-21 days old. That sweet, sleepy newborn phase only lasts about 2-3 weeks, so it’s important that you come in as soon as possible! Our in-home photography studio is located in Sylvania Ohio and is fully stocked with everything needed for your newborn photos. We have a large inventory of buckets, bowls, hats, wraps, headbands, backdrops — absolutely everything needed! All you have to do is bring your baby and I’ll take care of the rest :)

When you arrive to the studio, you can get comfortable on our couch, help yourself to a snack or drink, and even use our complimentary wifi. My hope for you is to be able to sit back, relax and watch me work my magic baby whisperer skills!
